Slowly 'the price is right.Cambodia' is getting it's act together. In the previous posting you can see the numbers to which this analysis refers to. Following are a number of tables which show the relative differences in prices.
Be aware though that some supermarkets have larger variety than others and that cheap prices may be due to old unsold stock!

Paragon Marketplace | 105,0 | 1 |
If you look at the table above, you can see that the Marketplace supermarket at Paragon is the cheapest place, if prices are compared with the lowest prices available. What is surprising is that the difference between the supermarkets is minimal; the difference is due to price differences in just a few products, so don't read too much in this.
The following table has looked at the comparison between supermarket price levels and averages. Thai Huot supermarket lies 1,9% below average prices, while Pencil's is 2,7% above average prices.

More assistance with the shopping comes from comparing how many of the products are the cheapest. Again Thai Huot scores best, nearly 60% of their produce is also the cheapest. Here the differences are more pronounced, Pencil coming in at the last place only tallies just over every 1 in 5, which does not really mean that you will be saving if you shop there.

An additional statistic is what follows, that of monthly inflation. Arguably, the number of products in the overview is low, at it's most just over 30. But with prices going up by an average of 0.5-2%, one can only imagine what it does to inflation.

Pencil | 1,95% | |
Bayon | 1,76% | |
Thai Huot | 0,63% | |
Big A | 1,04% |
And then finally an overview of the number of products on which the data in the previous posting are based and used in this analysis. As you can see both Pencil and Lucky have the most products, while Bayon and Thai Huot the least.

Next month, the data will be slightly later, but even more extensive?
